DEVI ANAND MAHALAKSHMI
The Hindu Goddess of wealth, abundance, beauty, and blissful relationships — and the beloved consort of Sri Ananda Venkateshwara.
Her very name reveals Her essence: Laksha in Sanskrit means goal, and Devi Maha Lakshmi is the Goddess who lovingly guides Her devotees toward the fulfillment of their highest purpose. She is worshipped for the manifestation of material and spiritual wealth, and Her blessings are especially sought for the healing and blossoming of relationships.
Often depicted seated upon a lotus throne — symbol of purity and divine grace — She is also frequently shown accompanied by elephants, signifying royal abundance and the outpouring of Her blessings upon all who surrender to Her. Her beeja mantra, Shrim, carries the very frequency of Her presence, and chanting it is said to open the heart to Her infinite grace.
